Update

Well, everything seems to be moving so slowly right now. We are waiting for one piece of information in order to get the home study process started. Leslie has been following up on that almost every day. Some of this stuff just takes some time. God's timing is perfect though, and we'll trust that everything is still moving according to his plan.

We have started to collect some things for Jack. We now have a dresser, a wagon, a car seat and some toys. We have a plan for and are going to begin work on making his sleeping area in our room real soon. We have clothes, a toddler bed, sheets, a rocker/glider and other items on the way from some of our friends. Thank you to everyone who has been helping us get ready for having another little one. We had nothing left for a little guy of Jack's age.

We will also ask for your prayer on our car situation. A week ago Friday, we found out that Chris' car is going to take a large amount of money to fix and they still are not sure if it is going to fix the problem. Given the age of the car and amount of repairs needed over the last couple of years, we feel that it may be time to move on to a different car instead of sinking more into this one. We have worked so hard to get rid of debt over the last three years, that it is hard to rush out and strap ourselves down with another loan. Especially since we are in the middle of this adoption process and the money that is and will be going into getting Jack home and the surgeries that he will need. So we ask you to join us in prayer for God's wisdom and guidance to make the right decision and find the right car. We know that these car troubles were not a surprise to Him and we're sure He has a plan. We just don't want to rush into anything that is not God's will. We are just seeking Him out on this and trusting in Him as our provider.
