Home-Study Complete!

This is where we breath a huge sigh of relief. We recieved word yesterday that our home-study was approved. WooHoo! One more obstacle down. Now we can start applying for loans and grants as we are going to need to come up with more money pretty quickly. We have been kicking around ideas for fund raisers. We had the opportunity to participate in our friend's fund raising concert this past weekend. It was an amazing event, and we were honored to be a small part of it. They did a really great job. Leslie has been feeling a lot of anxiety over the last couple of weeks as she has really been feeling the need to get Jack home. His birthday is coming up August 16th and we won't be able to get him home by then like I wanted to. That breaks our heart that his "should be special day", is just another day for him. No presents, no cake, no ice cream, no singing happy birthday, no pictures and no family to spoil him and love on him. We're ready to get him home! We still feel so blessed and humbled to be a part of this. We can't wait to meet our son.
