A long Six Weeks

The previous post was titled a long few weeks. Well...that turned into a long 6 weeks. Long story, but the bottom line is Leslie got her catheter out today and we can begin to get back to life as normal. Bad part is, we lost 6 weeks of fundraising time. God will provide. Our dossier is fully compiled. That was a long painstaking process. God spoke to me in church a couple of weeks ago as the worship team sang the song "It's gonna be worth it". Those words really resonated with me. All the documents have been state certified and Leslie will be shipping them to Chicago tomorrow. They go to the Chinese Consolate for an authentication process. Once we get them back, our adoption agency will review it and if everything looks ok, it will go to China. We would love to have Jack home by Christmas! That's our prayer request right now. From what we hear, under normal circumstances, we shouldn't count on it. If God wants Jack here by Christmas, then He will pave the way. If not, we just have to trust that His timing is perfect, never late and never early.

Thanks for checking on us and for your prayers and support.
