Well...we've been waiting about 80 days for our LOA from China as that is the next piece of the adoption puzzle. Our friends, who are also adopting, told us that they were to get theirs this past Wedneday. Since our paperwork went to China at the same time, we figured that we should be getting ours as well. Leslie made some calls and found out it wasn't going to happen. China got Jack's name wrong on the paperwork, so they have to re-do it. That will set us back another one to two weeks. But, hey, we are getting closer and we know it will be here soon. God's timing is perfect.
It's been a crazy week. I just told you the LOA story. As Cate is recovering from getting her tonsils and adnoids out last week, we had two more cases of strep in the house this week. Leslie and Grace. Grace now has an appointment with the ENT to see if her tonsils need to come out. Then Wednesday night at youth group, Evan rolled his ankle playing basketball and heard a pop. Sure enough, he broke his fibula and received a walking cast today. That put the kabosh on his track season and the early part of baseball season, which really disappointed him. He should still get to play most of his ball season though.
On the bright side, we should have some updated info and pictures of Jack headed our way soon. Woohoo! We are excited to get our hands on that.

So sorry to hear about your crazy week. Hopefully your LOA will be back soon.
Strep, surgery, and broken legs are not fun. Hope every one heals quickly.
