Hey everyone! We made it. We are in the hotel room and getting ready to venture out. We met a nice couple from Tennesse in the Chicago airport. They are also adoptiong, so it was fun to visit with them. The flight was long and very cramped but we survived.
I wanted to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers, your visits, calls, texts, FB posts, cards, letters, e-mails, money, etc...all of you have been a true blessing to us.
As some of you know, Leslie had ear troubles on the flight from KC to Chicago and was pretty nervous about making a 14 hour flight. Prayers were answered and she did not have any ear problems what-so-ever.
If the picture comes through, it was taken in the Beijing airport by our guide Nancy!
Tomorrow we go to the Great Wall and on Saturday, we go to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.
If you see our kids, give them hugs for us. Grace, thank you so much for the wonderful letter that you wrote us.

It is great to see you made it and you both look very excited and ready to meet Jack. Yesterday Melissa and I kept thinking about your travels throughout the day. Finally about 8:30 last night we had estimated you landed in China.
Anxious to see pictures of you and Jack together.
